Mission Statement

Taiwan is a sovereign nation of 23 million people. The Taiwanese people would like to coexist peacefully with our neighboring nations. But China threatens the Taiwanese people constantly with missiles aimed at Taiwan, and Chinese leaders have repeatedly stated their intention to use nuclear weapons if Taiwan refuses to become part of the Chinese empire.

Empires are not compatible with God's Kingdom on earth. Much of human tragedy throughout history stemmed from each nation's desire to dominate its neighbors and the world.

The Taiwanese are not Chinese. We are descended from immigrants, whether 10,000 years ago or 60, from all over the world seeking better political, religious, and economic conditions. We identify ourselves as Taiwanese because we share a common history, a common fate, and we love Taiwan.
