In human mitochondrial genetics, Haplogroup F is a human mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplogroup typical for the Far East.

Haplogroup F is centered in Asia and appears in eastern China and Japan. It is not found in the Americas. It is a descendant haplogroup of Haplogroup R.
